HOW YOU CAN HELP

 

Call us today if you are interested in the following opportunities at Emmaus:

Cooking and serving meals at Mitch's Shelter, particularly  Saturday and Sunday.

Cleaning, weeding, landscaping, painting around Emmaus properties.

Collecting donations at the Family Shelter.

Collecting weekly donations from local food markets, etc.

Volunteers willing to lift and transport food donations.

Volunteers to assist in Bethel Learning Center and life skills programs.

VOLUNTEERS
Thank you for inquiring about volunteering at Emmaus. Detailed information about our organization can be mailed to you directly, please contact us today to mail this to you.

If you are interested in working with children. We have a partnership with an organization called "Horizons for Homeless Children." This is a statewide group that places volunteers in shelters to work directly with children.

 

MINOR VOLUNTEERS

We do ask that individuals be 18 years of age or older unless *accompanied by a parent or adult supervisor.

 

TEEN SERVICE NIGHTS

 

Great opportunity to learn about Emmaus and help in the different programs in a variety of ways!

TBA- 4:00pm - 6:00pm

All Teen Volunteers need to complete a Teen Service Release form prior to attending a Teen Service Night.

Space is limited. Please RSVP 48 hrs. in advance.

*Teens participating in the TEEN SERVICE NIGHTS are not required to be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Group is supervised by the Emmaus VISTA Volunteer.

 

                       

         PLEASE JOIN US FOR A ROAD HOME TOUR

 

A one hour informational tour of Emmaus, Inc.

We ask that anyone interested in volunteering attend a tour to learn more about our organization.

Tours are held every month on the 1st Tuesday at 8:00am & the 2nd Wednesday at 4:00pm. (government holidays excluded).

Tours start at 150 How St. (Emmaus Family House)

June 12, 2013 - 4:00pm

 

We have never cancelled a tour, but please call to reserve your place, you will be very welcome.
