"Where Ordinary Miracles Happen All Around" - Light the Tree of Love

There are ordinary miracles happening all around at Emmaus. In 2009 we will assist more than 1,700 homeless adults and children who find themselves destitute with nowhere else to turn. Emmaus will do whatever it takes to help rebuild their lives. We will provide shelter, meals, affordable housing, job training and adult education, budget counseling, support services, and referrals to child care, transportation, and medical and mental health services. With a dedicated staff of 50 and an army of 500 volunteers, we will work tirelessly to take care of every woman, man, or child who walks through our doors.

Light the Tree of Love. This holiday season you can create an ordinary miracle. For every $10 gift to Emmaus, you can light one candle on the Tree of Love that will stand proudly in front of the Emmaus Family House in Haverhill. This tree will serve as a shining example of all the abundant love and compassion that is directed toward those in greatest need - the women, men, and children who call Emmaus "home".

Margot's Gallery commissioned a sterling silver and enamel pendant/pin from Idit Gallery, a world renowned Israeli jeweler. This striking piece symbolizes the origin of the name "Emmaus" in Israel and Emmaus' mission to provide housing and compassionate services to those in need.
